Philips have launched an invention competition called ‘Innovation Open’, which invites all innovators, inventors, tinkerers and big thinkers to share their ideas for a chance to make them a reality and take their idea to market.
The competition offers €50,000 worth of cash prizes and the ten finalists will attend the Innovation Open finals in Amsterdam. The competition has several categories, including a wildcard category to allow entrants to be as creative as they wish.
The invention competition categories are:
- Coffee
- Female beauty
- Kitchen appliances
- Male personal care
- Oral healthcare
- Parenting
- Wild card – Health & Wellbeing
