He also gives advice on how to come up with ideas and make basic prototypes from cardboard. You will surprised to hear that his inspiration comes from anywhere – even from something as humble as a container for Smarties which was Smartie shaped.
. Damian not only works to client briefs, but also invents his own products, which he then licenses to companies such as Joseph and Joseph.

Great interview! Funny that he has a degree in glass — I’m a couple hours short of a BFA in glass and another toy/game inventor friend of mine also blows glass. I’m beginning to think glass people are very inventive! LOL!
