Stephen Key from www.inventright.com is an inventor who has successfully licensed his ideas for many years. In this podcast he explains how he started licensing ideas and the method he uses. Over the years he has licensed in many different industries, with one of his most successful inventions being the Spin label, a label which gives much more space to put instructions on things like medicine bottles or food products. Having experienced Stephen’s method of licensing ideas first hand through his InventRight Course, what I like about the process is that it is quick and involves little financial outlay, emphasis is placed on good ideas rather than patents.
Stephen has also recently written a book called One Simple Idea, which goes in-depth into his method of licensing invention ideas, which he talks more about in the podcast.
